There are many attributes of keeping six fasts from 2nd of Shawwal Huzur PBUH has said that one having six fasts of Shawwal will get the virtue of thousand fasts from Allah and Allah will prohibit the fire of Hell on him and will enter countless virtues in his record (Nama-e-A'amaal). He may fast the six days in consecutive order or alternatively but should complete the figure of six within the month.
